ManagedEvent delivers DRM-protected live streaming and on-demand video for organisations that require absolute control over who attends, individual accountability for every viewer, and a complete audit trail of who watched — and for how long.
Every feature is designed around a single principle: the content is seen only by those authorised to see it, with no mechanism for unauthorised redistribution.
Each event is protected by a unique three-word invitation code distributed directly by the organiser. There is no public listing of events — the platform is invisible without a valid code.
Every attendee registers with professional details and requires explicit approval before gaining access. Approval can be granted or revoked at any time, per event.
All video — live and on-demand — is delivered with Widevine (Chrome, Android) and FairPlay (Safari, iOS) DRM. Content cannot be captured with screen recorders or browser developer tools.
Every stream and recording is individually watermarked with the viewer's identity. If content is recorded and leaked via physical means, the source can be identified.
A full audit record of every session: who joined, when, for how long, and peak concurrent viewers. Suitable for attendance verification and governance records.
Video is distributed through Cloudflare's global network with automatic scaling. Up to 10,000 concurrent viewers are supported without degradation in quality or security.
ManagedEvent operates on the principle that no single control is sufficient. Access restriction, encryption, watermarking, and audit logging work in combination — any failure in one layer is mitigated by the others.
No public surface
The platform does not appear in search engines and cannot be discovered without a valid meeting code.
Time-limited signed tokens
Video access tokens are cryptographically signed and expire after a set period. A URL shared outside the platform grants no access.
Domain-restricted playback
Video playback is restricted to the authorised domain. Embedding the player on any third-party website is blocked at the CDN level.
Instant revocation
Admin can revoke a user's access to any event or the entire platform immediately. Active sessions are terminated within seconds.
Access Control Layers
Meeting code required
Platform is invisible without a valid 3-word code
Identity registration
Name, organisation, role — verified by admin
Admin approval
No access until explicitly granted — per account and per event
DRM + watermark at playback
Video is encrypted and individually watermarked for every session
Full audit trail retained
Every view, join time, and duration is logged and retrievable
ManagedEvent is designed for events and briefings where the audience must be known, the content must be protected, and the record must be defensible.

ManagedEvent is developed and operated by Alton Valley, a technology company with long-standing ties to the UK defence and national security sector.
Our background in supporting organisations where the handling of sensitive information is not optional — it is a requirement — directly informs how ManagedEvent is built. The platform's access control model, encryption implementation, and audit capabilities reflect the standards expected in those environments.
We do not treat security as a feature that can be toggled. On ManagedEvent, it is the default state of every event, every viewer, and every recording.
